When SpotboyE.com broke the news of the lovebirds’ marriage in Tuscany, a few days before the couple flew off to Italy, little did people expect that the celebrations will be such a beautiful affair.
It’s been 1 full year to that. Well yes, Anushka and Virat celebrate their 1st wedding anniversary today. The lovebirds are currently in Australia (for the Ind vs Aus Test series) to celebrate the occasion.
On this special day, Anushka shared an unseen video from their wedding on Instagram, where the couple is seen taking wedding vows and pheras. The actress posted the video and wrote, “It's heaven, when you don't sense time passing by ... It's heaven, when you marry a good 'man' ... ”
The highlight of the video, for us, is the portion where Virat takes pride in addressing Anushka as his wife, and he goes on calling her that. The Indian cricket team captain too shared some beautiful pictures from their wedding. Virat wrote, “Can't believe it's been a year already because it feels like it happened just yesterday. Time has truly flown by. Happy anniversary to my best friend and my soulmate. Mine forever ”
In an interview with former cricketer, Adam Gilchrist recently, Virat Kohli opened up about his game, life beyond cricket and married life with Anushka, where he gushed about his Mrs and credited her for helping him grow as a person. “When I met my wife I began to change. I came from a very different background from north India and I had no idea of what happens in any other sphere of society or anyone else’s life. So, her life was very different.
